In the DFS industry you can argue that there are two power house sites currently running. There is FanDuel and DraftKings, and then there is everyone else. But I believe there is a site that has all the right tools to be in contention within the next year or so. That site is Fantasydraft.com.
A New Idea
FantasyDraft has a business model that isn’t like any of the other DFS sites. They have what they call the sixth degree referral program that is sure to guarantee players will be telling their friends to sign up. If you refer a friend you get commissions not only for that friend, but their friends’ friends up to six people. So if I refer Richard, and he refers Corey who refers Vanessa, I get commissions from all of them and all their referrals including the next two people in line if Vanessa refers some people.
Here’s How it Works

There is no other DFS site that has incentives like this and it can lead to serious money just for getting people to play. But FantasyDraft knows that just getting people to their site is one thing, but getting people to stick around is another. So they worked incredibly hard before their official launch in week 13 of the NFL season. They didn’t rush to get their product out because they wanted to work out all the bugs before they went public. This in itself says that they are here for the long run and are not trying to force their product for a quick buck when it isn’t ready.
Big Name Partnerships Within The Major Sports
Now the other thing that FantasyDraft has that sets them apart from the other sites is they have actual professional athletes playing on their site! Jordy Nelson and TY Hilton were the first two to sign up as a part of the team and users are allowed to compete with them. Other big names include Jimmy Johnson, Drew Brees, and Boomer Esiason.
We have provided a few screenshots of some of the most frequently seen pages on their site. Their in-game contest view is very, very good! The site is easy on the eyes, easy to enter contests and create lineups, and their live contest view makes watching your games a blast!
As far as their game play goes, they are very similar to FanDuel with roster and scoring. The only difference is they offer a flex spot as well. Their pricing is middle of the road so it isn’t that difficult to fit your favorite players, but you won’t be able to fit them all.
Their interface is incredibly easy to look at and navigate. One of the things that I like from FantasyDraft is their player profiles. They show you all the stats you need to know when choosing a player so you don’t have to leave the site to research a pick. Their live scoring is incredibly quick so fantasy points show up seconds after the play actually happens. They are also guaranteeing every contest for their first week so it doesn’t matter if the contest fills up, they will still run!
The DFS industry is in need of a number three site to compete with the two big dogs and I believe that FantasyDraft is well on their way of changing how things are done in this business. The best part of their business model is they are giving back to the people who make playing possible, Us The Players!
